LabAutomation show will see introduction of new software for range of HTM coded tube readers enabling simple and rapid integration with Lims and automation systems
Micronic in conjunction with BD Biosciences, its exclusive US partner for coded tube systems, has announced its presence at the LabAutomation 2003 conference (1-5 February 203) with a stand focusing on solutions for automation and integration in the sample storage area.
At the meeting, Micronic is introducing for the first time new ActivX software for its range of HTM coded tube readers enabling simple and rapid integration with Lims and automation systems.
In addition Micronic will launch to the US market its new TPE coloured caps a patented high integrity 96-tube capping system.
Designed to increase productivity and eliminate expensive tube capping systems TPE coloured caps uniquely provide single action capping of a single tube, a row of tubes or a complete 96-tube rack.
With a choice of seven different colours the new TPE caps provide a simple, yet highly effective means of visually differentiating stored samples by person, department, project or even by the day of the week they were submitted.
On stand 516 Micronic will also be previewing a series of new scientific applications posters featuring coded tube systems at work in different automated environments.
Also on display will be Robo-Rack, a next generation 96-position sample tube storage rack that incorporates a wealth of novel features enabling turn-key integration into most laboratory automation systems.
For the more demanding sample storage applications such as those in low or non-uniform lighting or dusty environments the complete range of TraXis coded tubes, racks, piercable sealing systems, tube readers and software will be available for demonstration.
For company`s using the widely recognised data matrix coding system the Tracker-DM range of coded tubes, powerful software and high speed reading systems will be on display.
