The Milli-DI system from Millipore provides deionised water suitable for standard laboratory applications such as the production of buffers and reagents as well as microbiological culture media.
Meeting the needs of low volume users (3-5l/day), the Milli-DI is a compact and easy to use system.
Installation takes only a few minutes and changing the purification pack (DI-Pak) can be done in just a few seconds.
One 2.3l pack can purify up to 300l of water (based on feedwater conductivity = 400uS/cm and dissolved CO2 = 0ppm).
The Milli-DI system contains a built in resistivity meter to verify water quality: while the green LED is on, you can be sure that the water quality is above 1MU.cm at 25C.
In addition, a red LED lights up when it is time to change the purification pack, ensuring your water quality is not compromised.
The Milli-DI system is wall mounted allowing you to optimise the space in your laboratory.
It is battery-powered and therefore requires no electrical outlet.
For applications requiring a higher quality of purified water, the Milli-DI system can be used as a pretreatment for the Simplicity ultrapure systems.
