Following an extensive review by Omron of how it supplies products and gives service to customers, it has announced radical changes to its distribution and specialist supplier network
There will now be four main groups: distribution centres, technical centres, engineering partners, and specialist partners, and to qualify for a place required benchmarking of abilities and facilities needed to meet tough standards specified by Omron. Over many months Omron consulted all its partners and from analysis of operations developed a brand new partner policy that focuses on customer needs.
Micromech reports that it is pleased to have been successful and has been duly appointed an Omron specialist partner motion.
