programmable feedback UV light source maintains extremely stable UV irradiation from a quartz halogen lamp at a higher colour temperature and over a longer life than incandescent bulbs
Moritex Europe has announced the launch of a programmable feedback UV light source adding to the wide range of applications serviced by its already comprehensive range of highly stable and safe light sources of differing function, size and intensity. Featuring a universal power input the new programmable feedback UV light source maintains extremely stable UV irradiation from a quartz halogen lamp through proprietary optical feedback control. By using the unique feedback input of the light source the power level of the UV irradiation can be precisely and accurately controlled.
The intensity of the UV light can be programmed to be at a constant level, stepped increases or even to intermittent, pulsed irradiation.
The result is a programmable light source highly suited to optimised UV curing for applications including plasma/LCD display sealing, optical fibre/ferrule bonding, and joining of lenses and prisms.
Using a proprietary operating cycle Moritex quartz halogen lamps provide a steady, stable output at a higher colour temperature (>3000K) and over a longer life span (500-2000 hours) than incandescent bulbs.
Designed for safety and reliability the light sources are highly resistant to heat shock. Compact in design, Moritex light sources may be manually controlled or remotely operated by analogue or digital signals. Moritex light sources offer a range of optional features to maximise operational safety, performance and reliability.
Through monitoring rush currents, lamp abnormalities and high lamp temperature ensures using Moritex light sources operators get reliable, stable light every time.
