Exhibition for sensors, measurement and instrumentation featuring industrial networks for fieldbus and open systems returns to the NEC Birmingham on 16 and 17 February 2005
The sensor, measurement and instrumentation industry thrives on technological innovation and is developing very rapidly.
It is vital for users to stay abreast of the latest product developments, and therefore Mtec 2005 provides the solution, says the organiser.
It is the only UK show dedicated wholly to sensors, measurement and instrumentation.
The 2005 show also sees the return of Industrial Networks for fieldbus and open systems, which is a dedicated section of the event where visitors can compare and evaluate proprietary systems, open systems and the industrial use of ethernet.
Both Mtec and Industrial Networks enjoy the support of numerous industry associations and societies who will be holding free seminars and presentations to enhance the visitor experience.
Industrial Networks is supported by Profibus, Asi Expert Alliance and the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA) who will be holding seminars at the event.
In turn Mtec will be supported by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and the British Society of Strain Measurement (BSSM) who will also be holding seminars over the two days.
The exhibition also benefits from the co-location of eight other tightly focussed events.
More than 6000 visitors attended the two-day event in 2004.
