Seminar on tensile and fatigue testing offers the opportunity to speak to industry experts and to network with different companies
The National Metals Technology Centre (Namtec) in conjunction with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is hosting a one day seminar to demonstrate how tensile and fatigue testing can be used in aerospace materials.
Industry experts will be on hand to explain the techniques used and to review procedures and policies in the field of tensile and fatigue testing.
Aimed at engineers and designers in the manufacture of components for the aerospace industry and technicians carrying out tensile and fatigue testing of materials.
The seminar offers the opportunity to speak to industry experts and to network with different companies.
The seminar is also open to students and younger engineers wanting to broaden their knowledge within this field of expertise.
Free to members and £80 to non members of NPL's force and hardness group, the seminar will take place on Thursday 24 February 2005 at RAF Cosford, Shropshire, UK.
