Chamber furnaces incorporate a heating module situated on both sides of the chamber and hardwearing refractory base and door, while the outside remains safe to touch even at 1300C
Available from P and R Laboratory Supplies, the ever-popular CWF range of chamber furnaces from Carbolite incorporates a heating module situated on both sides of the chamber.
Each is made of a hard wearing alumina carrier which houses a free radiating coiled wire element.
This design allows the furnaces to reach optimum temperature up to 50% quicker than a traditional muffle design, thereby offering much greater efficiency.
A hardwearing refractory base and door area offers excellent resistance to everyday wear and tear.
Automatic safety switches isolate power to the elements as the door is opened.
Models are available in chamber sizes of 5, 13 or 23 litres and maximum temperatures of 1100C, 1200C or 1300C.
There is also a choice of PID controllers allowing maximum flexibility.
The outer casing is safe to touch, even with 1300C inside! Order now from P and R until 31 March and get 5% off the price of any model.
Prices start at just £1210 for the CWF11/5/PID201 (5 litre, 1100C with digital control PID201). This offer is available in the UK only.
