Photonics and Analytical Marketing, the exclusive distributor of the Matchbox range of miniature spectrometers produced by its associated company Spectroscopic and Analytical Developments, announces that the wavelength coverage available has been extended.
Depending on the diffraction grating selected, customers can choose a range of either 700nm or 350nm within the total available range of 190nm in the ultraviolet to 1450nm in the infrared.
Software enhancements allow a user selectable averaging facility, peak height and wavelength identification, calculation of the area under the curve, and the facility to display up to ten curves at the same time.
In addition a number of specialised accessories have been developed for specific applications such as measuring the colour of surfaces, measuring laser or UV enhanced fluorescence and monitoring the colour of liquids in flow cells.
Typical applications include dyebath monitoring, plasma studies, monitoring of phosphors, QC of lamps and LEDs, and liquid crystal display measurement.
