Two new hi-res monochrome cameras for scientific and industrial microscope applications, with resolution up to 5.8 megapixels and up sensitivity down to 0.002lux
Pixera has introduced two new high resolution monochrome camera systems for scientific and industrial microscope applications that require much higher sensitivity, up to 0.002lux for the Penguin 600CLM and 0.01lux for the Pro150ESM.
The Penguin 600CLM camera system is offered with cooled CCD and resolutions up to 5.8 million pixels.
The system incorporate a thermoelectric peltier cooling device, which significantly increases the signal-to-noise ratio and thereby creates an extremely sensitive device.
The Pro 150ESM is non-cooled and offered with resolutions up to 1.5 million pixels.
Both Penguin 600CLM and Pro 150ESM are build on the same successful foundation that created Penguin and Pro series colour camera systems, highlighted by very high resolution, superior image quality, reliable design and extremely easy to learn and operate.
Specific solutions include long integration exposure, with up to 64 minutes exposure time, 60dB dynamic range, 62dB signal-to-noise ratio, leading edge image processing technology and a fast 15 frames per second 'live' viewfinder.
Both camera systems operate under Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP and MacOS 9.0-9.2.
