Agreement brings together luminescence reporter gene technologies with the means to detect and accurately measure luminescence using high-sensitivity luminometers
On 1 May 2002, Promega was appointed exclusive UK distributor for Turner BioSystems luminometers.
The agreement covers the Turner BioSystems range of TD20/20 and Reporter luminometers, including all parts and accessories as well as equipment and services. Providing Promega's customers with a complete solution for gene reporter assays, this new agreement brings together Promega's highly sensitive luminescence reporter gene technologies with the means to detect and accurately measure luminescence using Turner BioSystems high-sensitivity luminometers.
"We are delighted with this new agreement," comments Derek McCall, managing director, Promega UK.
"It means we can supply our customers with the integrated solution they need to successfully carry out luminescence-based reporter gene assays." Promega claims to be a leader in the field of luciferase reporter assays with a range of products suitable for single reactions, dual reporter systems and high throughput screening applications.
Designed specifically for use with luciferase, Turner BioSystems TD 20/20 luminometer with dual-injectors is ideal for dual reporter systems.
Both sensitive and versatile, this instrument has a dynamic range that allows users to carry out assays requiring ultimate sensitivity as well as assays with high light output. The Turner BioSystems Reporter microplate luminometer is a sensitive and precise 96-well luminometer designed specifically for luminescent gene reporter assays, which enables maximum performance at an affordable price.
Accessories are also available including test tubes, printer cables and extended warranty options.
