Porvair Sciences has announced the launch of a new range of contamination-free deep-well microplates for high yield growth of bacteria, yeast, and mammalian or insect cell lines.
Produced from ultra-pure grade polypropylene, under clean room conditions, Bacti-Growth plates contain no contaminants to leach out into samples to affect bacterial or cell growth.
Precision engineering also ensures the plate-to-plate reliability required for automated applications.
Every batch of Bacti-Growth plates is rigorously tested to validate their contamination-free status. Comprising a deep well plate and a tight fitting lid, each pack of five Bacti-Growth plates is sealed in a virgin polymer bag before passing through an irradiation process to sterilise the product.
Bacti-Growth products range from a 384-well plate providing a well volume of 300µl to 1ml round well and 2ml square 96-well plates, providing options to suit most applications.
