Expanded range of 48 and 96-well microplates in a choice of glass fibre, nylon, nitrocellulose, PVDF or polyethylene supports and volumes from 350µl to 5ml
Porvair Sciences has announced further additions to its comprehensive range of filtration microplates.
The expanded range of 48 and 96-well microplates are available in a choice of glass fibre, nylon, nitrocellulose, PVDF or polyethylene supports and well volumes ranging from 350µl to 5ml, providing the optimal plate to suit almost all filtration applications.
To provide a total filtration solution a complete range of vacuum manifolds and collection plates are also available from Porvair Sciences. Adopting the standard microplate footprint Porvair filtration plates are readily incorporated into fully automated robotic liquid handling systems enhancing productivity.
Glass fibre filtration plates from Porvair Sciences provide scientists with a cost effective solution for high throughput microfiltration applications including cell harvesting, DNA separations, binding studies, plasmid isolation, general filtration and sample clean-up.
Incorporating a range of applications optimised microfilters, GF filtration plates can simultaneously filter 96 samples of up to 350µl volume providing great productivity benefits and high filtered sample integrity.
Benefiting from a choice of medical grade polymer filters Porvair MacroFilter plates can simultaneously filter 48 samples of up to 5ml volume increasing throughput of samples.
High filtered sample integrity is ensured through manufacture from medical grade polymer filters to minimise leachates with a wide range of solvents.
Additionally each well on the MacroFilter plate has an individual drainage spout ensuring 100% sample transfer and zero cross-over contamination.
