Latest additions to portfolio of cutting edge microplate technology for high-throughput applications showcases at Achema
Porvair Sciences, in conjunction with German partner Zinsser Analytic, has announced its presence at Achema 2003 in Frankfurt, Germany (19-24 May 2003) with the latest additions to its portfolio of cutting edge microplate technology for high-throughput applications.
At this important meeting, Porvair Sciences will be introducing the highly affordable MiniVap microplate solvent evaporator.
Technical specialists will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss how laboratories can benefit from the compact and easy-to-use 96-well solvent evaporator.
Also on display will be Porvair's recently introduced range of high volume 48- and 96-well microplates for combinatorial chemistry and sample storage applications.
Adopting a standard microplate footprint the versatile and solvent resistant polypropylene construction of the new plates lends itself to automated combinatorial chemistry applications.
A high volume per well, 4ml for 96-well and a choice of 5, 7.5 or 10ml for 48-well plates, permits users to simply reproduce a large variety of combinatorial chemistries in a single unit maximising both operational flexibility and target compound production. Manufactured from ultra-pure grade polypropylene, the high volume plates have near zero leachates making them also an ideal long-term storage medium.
