Latest version of client/server chromatography data system aimed at the pharmaceutical sector has new inbuilt features to ensure compliance with electronic signatures regulation
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has released the latest version of its Class-VPT client/server chromatography data system. Class-VPT v7.2, which focuses on the needs of pharmaceutical customers, has more built-in features to ensure compliance with US FDA's 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
New enhancements include a signing authority hierarchy to enforce proper application of electronic signatures and optional comments for e-signatures, thin client interaction via Citrix Metaframe XPT support to simplify validation of large software deployments, and expanded system admin activity logs and audit trails. Shimadzu's Class-VP v7.2 supports a wide range of HPLC and GC systems including digitally configured injection and detector modules.
Full support is provided for the VP series HPLC, the LC 2010 as well as the new ELSD-LT universal light scattering detector.
Class-VP v7.2 also provides support of Windows XP Professional OS for client/server configurations and offers enhanced accessibility of photodiode array (PDA) data via the updated Elite ToolBox technology.
