Product prevents legionella and other pathogenic bacterial infestations in header tanks for safety showers
Safety Showers has added a new product to its tank shower range. The company says that showers fitted with a header tank to hold water are the most at-risk from legionella.
Aquanella is a product which prevents legionella and other pathogenic bacteria infestations, it enables water storage at higher temperatures (above 20C) therefore in the case of tank showers giving a warm drench for a longer period of time from all capacity tanks (350ltr, 800ltr, 1200ltr and 2000ltr).
It drastically reduces maintenance costs, which have before now always entailed frequent, scrupulous and often expensive regimes, which in a busy industrial environment may sometimes be hurried or even disgarded.
Aquanella is active within the tank 24 hours a day for three years.
With Aquanella the minimum maintenance is required as each module offers long term protection.
The modules can also be retro-fitted to existing tank showers.
