TauTec is now offering customised, turn-key time-resolved imaging systems incorporating state-of-the-art intensified, picosecond gated ICCD camera, choice of excitation laser source (mode-locked lasers up to 100MHz), optical microscope (inverted or upright), imaging spectrograph and the required accessory electronics.
The modular system is suitable for various applications such as Flim (fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy), Fret (fluorescence resonance energy transfer) microscopy, time-resolved single molecule imaging, time-gated Raman imaging and spectroscopy, pump-probe spectroscopy, multifocal multiphoton microscopy and optical tomography.
The system features are: optical gate widths down to 50ps; gating rep rate up to 110MHz, gain modulation up to 1GHz; UV-NIR spectral range, single photon sensitivity, 2-D photon counting mode, dynamic range up to 16 bit, and up to 30 full (640 x 480) images/s.
The system is completely computer controlled and comes with a user-friendly, high performance, comprehensive Windows-compatible software for peripheral device control (laser, spectrograph, filter wheel, shutter, camera and microscope functions, etc), image acquisition, processing and data analysis using non-linear least square fitting routines for the analysis of fluorescence lifetime data in terms of different model functions.
