Evaporation speeds of less than three hours for four deepwell plates and a combination of heating, vortexing and vacuum to evaporate solvents quickly and effectively
The CombiDancer by Hettlab has been developed as a result of a natural progression from its predecessor, the IR-Dancer.
A vapour sensor allows the speed of evaporation to be carefully controlled.
This enables a combination of heating, vortexing and vacuum to evaporate the following solvents quickly and effectively.
High boiling solvents such as DMSO and DMF.
Low boiling solvents such as ether derivates and DCM.
Difficult mixtures such as water and acetonitrile.
Corrosive liquids such as TFA and HCl.
Samples go straight inside the evaporator in custom made racks, thereby eliminating the need to balance samples.
The device is also easy to clean as there are no moving parts inside the sealed compartment.
For sensitive samples, a purge valve offers the option to flush with an inert gas and, with its new lid design and the option to store data, it can easily be integrated into Zinsser's robotic systems.
With evaporation speeds of less than three hours for four deepwell plates with 500ul DMSO per well using up to 60C, Zinsser Analytic says the CombiDancer is a must for any laboratory.
Zinsser has been distributing and servicing Hettlab products since January 2004.
