The E-Lab 2005 event has been cancelled due to the very low number of registrations received
Editor's Note, 31 May 2005: This event has been cancelled.
What follows below is the organiser's original news release published 8 April 2005:.
E-Lab 2005 says it will take a holistic view with presentations on real initiatives and processes that are setting the pace for further change in the laboratory.
Information Technology has been driving relentless change in the laboratory for 25 years or more.
In most cases the change has been evolutionary, but organisations are increasingly looking at the possibilities of revolutionary change to achieve greater efficiencies in their laboratory processes and information management.
This conference, e-Lab 2005, will take a holistic view with presentations on real initiatives and processes that are setting the pace for further change in the laboratory.
Topics covered will include the Dark Lab, a vision for 2010, and anticipated developments in technologies, data handling, data ownership and information management.
The conference, and supporting exhibition, will have wide appeal for laboratory managers, technical IT managers and laboratory scientists, says the organiser, and will present an opportunity to hear the latest thinking on the role that information technologies can play in meeting the challenges of the laboratory of the future.
This two day event will be held at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, 1 Lambeth High Street, London, on 13-14 June 2005.
NOTE: Event cancelled.
