Porvair Sciences has signed a distribution agreement with Shanghai Perfect Biotech to support the considerable interest in its products in the bouyant Chinese marketplace.
Founded in 1998, Shanghai Perfect Biotech is described as a well-respected supplier of molecular biology products, immunology reagents, laboratory equipment and biochemicals.
At the recent Shanghai BiotechPharma show, at which the new partnership was launched, Mike Brown (sales and marketing director, Porvair Sciences) commented: "We have taken our time to select the right partner for the Chinese market and if customer feedback from this show is anything to go by we feel optimistic about future prospects".
As exclusive Chinese distributor, Shanghai Perfect Biotech will offer Porvair's comprehensive range of 96 and 384-well Deepwell, Krystal clear bottomed, assay, filtration and PCR microplates.
In addition the company will offer Porvair's range of microplate sample concentrators, sample sealers and the market leading Microlute 96-well samle preparation systems.
The agreement with Shanghai Perfect Biotech strengthens Porvair's coverage of the Asian market, where the company has established informed distribution partners in Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Australia.
