Range promises superb thermal performance characteristics perfectly balanced with ease of operation to ensure that routine daily use never becomes a chore
GRI (Genetic Research Instrumentation) has launched its G-Storm range of thermal cyclers.
Designed, developed and manufactured in the UK by GRI, the G-Storm range comprises four cyclers - all packed with cutting edge specifications.
The company says this is the result of its unrivalled knowledge and experience of the thermal cycler market place.
G-Storm will be sold exclusively within the UK, France and Ireland by GRI's teams of technical sales specialists.
Managing director Simon Nicklin is delighted with this major move forward for GRI: "For over 25 years GRI has supplied molecular biologists with tools essentials for cutting edge research.
"With the G-Storm thermal cycler range of products, GRI has listened to customers, worked with scientists and developed with engineers, a thermal cycler range that will not only exceed expectations for excellence and performance, but will give back the pleasure of research work by using a system that looks great and delivers quality data time after time".
The G-Storm range consists of four units, GS1, GS4, GSX and GSXs (satellite).
G-Storm is purpose built for the demands of cutting edge molecular biology.
Superb thermal performance characteristics are perfectly balanced with ease of operation ensuring that routine daily use never becomes a chore, says the company.
Design and feel of G-Storm is paramount, resulting in a cycler that will deliver the results researchers demand from units that will look great in the laboratory.
"Why shouldn't biotech equipment look good - after all you are bound to find the latest Apple Macs in genetics and proteomics labs these days," believes Nicklin.
One particular feature is the colour touchscreen at the heart of G-Storm's control, making programming, file management and cycler control a simple and enjoyable process.
GRI Molecular Biology and GRI France will promote the G-Storm thermal cycler product range within the UK, French and Irish biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostic and research markets, and GRI will develop a distribution network to supply other countries.
"We believe we have the product to literally take the market by storm," concludes Nicklin.
