Software packages and verification system for multimode detectors increase power and ease of use as well as providing tools for 21 CFR Part 11 and other regulatory compliance
Beckman Coulter introduces two new software packages and a verification system for the DTX series multimode detectors, increasing power and ease of use as well as providing tools for 21 CFR Part 11 and other regulatory compliance.
The new enhancements - Multimode Analysis software, Accounts and Permissions software, and Multimode Check Plate - can be implemented separately or together, for a comprehensive detector solution.
The new Multimode Analysis software supports all three DTX detection modes - fluorescence, absorbance, and luminescence - and includes a user-friendly interface for the easy set-up of assay protocols for genomics, proteomics, cellular analysis and other drug discovery research.
The program provides a wide range of data analysis functions, including standard curves, data reduction, cutoff groups and transformation formulas.
Results can be quickly recalculated using different parameters without rerunning the plate, and users can also choose from a variety of data handling and output options.
The Accounts and Permissions module offers all the functionality of the Multimode Analysis software plus tools for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, including definable user accounts, configurable roles and permissions for individual users, electronic signature and audit trail.
With the new Multimode Check Plate system, users can easily verify the detector's performance to meet GLP requirements.
With a single reference test plate and simple software, all available DTX detection modes can be automatically checked.
A summary report delivers basic pass/fail results or more specific test data, if needed.
"Our DTX series multimode detectors have been well-received in a wide range of pharmaceutical and biotech applications," commented Matt Maloney, product manager for Beckman Coulter.
"With the addition of advanced data analysis capabilities, 21 CFR Part 11 tools and instrument verification, customers can take full advantage of the flexibility of these detectors."
