First ever pocket-sized oscilloscope uses USB interface to turn any laptop,. desktop, or embedded PC into a full-function single channel, isolated oscilloscope
Elan Digital has announced the first in its range of modular instrumentation test and measurement products - the USBScope50.
This is a full-function single channel, isolated oscilloscope which is similar in size and form to the popular USB 'pen' memory products.
Two (or more) USBScope50s can be plugged together to form a dual/multi channel device with a unique synchronisation feature.
The product features 100MHz analogue bandwidth, 50Msamples/sec one-shot acquisition and 1Gsamples/sec equivalent time sampling (for repetitive waveforms) and is compatible with any standard scope probes.
The unit comes with easy to use USBScope software for Windows.
The USBScope50 combines tiny size, low power, low cost, modularity and high performance.
This new scope is aimed at making high performance measurement easily affordable to all engineers, is described as a real breakthrough in miniaturisation and cost-reduction in the test equipment field.
The use of USB interface makes the USBScope50 compatible with all laptops, desktops and even embedded PCs.
The USBScope50 is the first in a series of miniaturised test and measurement products which Elan Digital plans to launch in the near future.
