Family of microscopes selected specifically to be useful to vets and researchers involved in veterinary sciences includes basic low cost instruments as well as those with built-in cameras
GX Microscopes has launched a new family of microscopes selected specifically to be useful to vets and researchers involved in veterinary sciences.
The range includes microscopes said to offer exceptional value for money such as the L301 model from as little as 220 euro(US$250), a popular, robust microscope for the examination of scrapings, blood, infestations, dermatology, thin sections and biopsies.
It includes a high quality mechanical stage and a full Abbe condenser and objectives giving up to 1000x magnification normally associated with much more expensive microscopes.
Other microscopes include the L2080 video microscope which has a built-in camera which can be used to connect to a video monitor or to a video interface in a PC to store and send images to specialists for consultative advice.
There are 13 microscopes in the veterinary microscope range at present with more planned in the future.
