This November Ibla (International Biotech and Lab Automation Europe) will, as always, be a hotbed for novel ideas, fresh approaches and new product launches, says the organiser
Many of the 120+ exhibiting companies are to use this major UK life science event as the platform to introduce a multiplicity of new products.
Centrally located at London's Olympia, Ibla provides the ideal opportunity for scientists to keep up with the latest life science product and technology developments from around the world, all in a single venue.
Companies which view Ibla as a natural stage on which to launch brand new products include Beckman Coulter, Caliper Life Sciences, CEM Microwave Technology, Eppendorf, Genevac and Thermo, among at least 20 others.
From high volume robotic liquid handling systems to Raman-based spectroscopy systems, as well as centrifugal evaporators and real-time PCR systems, visitors to Ibla will see a vast array of novel introductions for the first time ever.
"Since we view Ibla as the UK's leading exhibition for biotech and lab automation industries, Eppendorf is taking advantage of this invaluable two-day product focused event to globally launch the Mastercycler EP Realplex real-time PCR system and three new microcentrifuges," said Geoff Simmons, brand marketing specialist at Eppendorf.
Pete Blanchard, UK sales manager from Thermo concurs: "Thermo has successfully launched many new products at Ibla over the past four years.
"This year, among a number of exciting robotic compatible new products, we will exhibit our brand new Multidrop Combi high volume reagent dispenser for the first time in the UK at this major lab show".
Beckman Coulter will also be making a big impact at Ibla: "We will be introducing the Automated Bar Code Reader, Fly-By Bar Code Reader and Labware Stacking ALP for the Beckman Coulter Biomek laboratory automation systems to our UK customers at Ibla.
"The show provides the ideal opportunity to show these new products to the maximum number of our customers in the UK bioresearch market" said Andrew Mark, marketing, systems biology at Beckman Coulter.
Since so many exhibitors will be introducing new developments at Ibla, a series of free technology seminars will also be run in the on-site lecture theatre.
The enlightening presentations will give visitors the chance to evaluate new products, technologies and solutions first hand.
Leading companies, including ABGene, Anachem and Qiagen will be presenting their very latest scientific developments, technologies and findings.
