Leasing arrangements can be made to include routine maintenance and/or service contracts so a single monthly fee will cover everything
Lambda Advanced Technology (LAT) has introduced lease and rental options for its comprehensive range of Teledyne Leeman Labs ICP spectrometers and Hitachi atomic absorption, UV/vis and fluorescence spectrophotometers.
Instruments may be leased over a three or five year period.
Many organisations who would be keen to purchase new equipment have strict limitations on capital equipment budgets.
In these cases, there are often other budgets that are only available on a monthly draw-down basis.
The leasing scheme will provide customers with the flexibility to purchase new equipment using these other budgets.
Leasing arrangements can be made to include routine maintenance and/or service contracts so a single monthly fee will cover everything.
At the end of the lease period, a decision can be made whether to purchase the instrument outright for a small fee, or to extend the lease and take a brand new instrument.
The company also recognises that some customers may have short-term requirements for instruments, yet still need the latest equipment and see the rental option as the perfect solution, especially for UV/visible and fluorescence spectrophotometers.
The minimum hire period is one month, but should a customer decide to make a purchase of the instrument within six months of the rental agreement, the rental payments made will be deducted from the purchase price of the instrument.
