Camspec has announced two new small PC software packages for use with its M501 single beam scanning UV/visible spectrophotometers.
The first of these new software packages, Parallel Kinetics, is for monitoring the progress of enzyme reactions for up to seven samples and a reference.
All the reactions are displayed on the PC screen and the linear part of each curve may be selected for calculating the enzyme concentration.
This is at fixed wavelength and uses the automatic eight-cell changer.
The other, Repeat Scans, is for monitoring the progress of a chemical reaction by repeating scans at a precise time interval.
All the scans are displayed on the PC screen and the reaction data at a single wavelength may be selected.
These separate packages are in addition to the PC application software and Panorama software.
