Thermo Electron will be launching its new and innovative ICP and will also be showcasing its ICP-MS (inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry) systems at the Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry in Tucson, Arizona, USA, on 8-16 January 2006.
Thermo's ICP, ICP-MS and GD-MS product range is designed to carry out the most demanding environmental, geochemical, clinical, metal and semiconductor analyses.
Thermo will be holding a hospitality evening in the Coronado Ballroom to unveil the new dramatically different ICP on Tuesday 10 January at the conference hotel, the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador golf and tennis resort.
This will be the first chance to see this 'incredibly innovative' ICP.
Thermo's product specialist will be present at the event to answer questions on the new ICP and existing ICP-MS and GD-MS instruments and applications.
Showcased on booth will be Thermo's innovations in ICP, ICP-MS and GD-MS.
Thermo will also be presenting its latest application data and methodologies as part of the conference technical programme.
These presentations will cover areas such as new ion-optics designs, laser ablation, current status of sector field technology and properties of a high resolution glow discharge mass spectrometer.
Thermo's product managers and application specialists will be available on booth for discussions and questions.
