Company behind a new air sterilisation system which kills 99.97% of airborne viruses and bacteria has been awarded an ISO certificate, recognising processes in design, development and manufacture
Quest International researched, developed and now manufactures AirManager, which is capable of destroying potentially fatal airborne diseases, including MRSA, anthrax and H5N1 (avian flu).
The ISO 9001:2000 certificate was awarded after Quest International met stringent requirements covering design, development, manufacture and all other business activities.
Managing director Harry Bennett said: "Our technology has now been accepted for use in very stringent situations, such as aviation, healthcare, laboratories and our customers now include international organisations.
"It was very important, therefore, that we could show that our company was capable of meeting the high quality standards demanded by these companies".
Research director David Hallam said: "In order to qualify for this award, we had to demonstrate that our design process conformed to the highest international criteria, as our technology is being used around the world.
"I am proud that we passed this test with the highest commendation from our examiners - and our clients."
