Donaldson Membranes has launched a high efficiency, particulate air (HEPA) polytetrafluoroethylene laminate.
Donaldson Membranes, which specialises in the manufacture of expanded mircoporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes, films and laminates, has launched a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) PTFE laminate.
The addition of HEPA media for absolute filters will be welcomed within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, where Donaldson Membranes had been providing filtration products for over 20 years.
As a HEPA-rated synthetic ePTFE laminate, Donaldson's product meets the industry standards of H13 filter class (EN1822) and is therefore ideal for ultra-clean applications in contamination-free environments, ensuring the purity of products being handled and processed.
The HEPA laminate has high efficiency, while its non-stick surface provides dust-cake release and eliminates concerns regarding contamination.
It is extremely efficient in combating indoor air pollution, such as household dusts, pollens, bacteria and many allergens, and is therefore suitable for bag-less vacuums.
Typical HEPA products increase rather than decrease in efficiency during their lifespan, and so traditionally require frequent replacement.
Donaldson HEPA media, however, are reusable and washable, and therefore offer extended life.
