Cambridge BioScience has been named new distributor for Imgenex products in the UK and Ireland
The Imgenex range comprises antibodies, kits and reagents, expression systems and blots for use in the study of cancer, apoptosis, molecular signaling pathways, cellular aging, and metabolic and infectious diseases.
Imgenex offers a large selection of antibody reagents to key factors involved in cell cycle regulation (such as oncogene and tumour suppressor gene products) plus various factors involved in neurobiology including neurotransmitter receptors.
In addition, the RetroMax retroviral expression vector system is an extremely efficient tool for delivering genes into dividing cells.
Based on the pCL vector system, it has been designed to maximise recombinant-retrovirus titres in a simple and flexible experimental system.
Other key Imgenex products now available from Cambridge BioScience include: Activelisa, a new series of complete Elisa kits for quantifying biochemical changes in critical signalling pathway proteins; and Insta-blot ready-to-use membranes offering a simple and cost-effective solution for screening the expression of a particular protein in different tissues and cells with various treatments.
