The third annual European symposium on protein fractionation and biomarker discovery will feature papers on a wide range of advances in proteome research
Hosted by Beckman Coulter, the meeting takes place on 12-13 September 2006 at Worcester College, Oxford.
Delegates will hear papers by leading experts from the UK, Europe and the USA, and participate in poster and round-table sessions.
Guest speakers include Prof Hana Kovarova, Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics, Libechov, Czech Republic; Prof Giovanni Melioli, Gaslini Paediatric Institute, Genoa, Italy; Elke Hammer, University of Greifswald, Germany; Josef Kellermann, MPI, Martinsried, Germany; Ashley Martin, Cancer Research UK; and Susan Slade, Department of Biological Sciences, University of Warwick.
The keynote address will be given by Roz Banks, reader in biomedical proteomics, Cancer Research UK Clinical Centre, St James's University Hospital, Leeds.
Papers for the 2006 meeting will review new research using protein fractionation and experience of proteome partitioning with IgY antibodies in a number of application areas.
