At this year's Denver X-ray meeting Inel plans to demonstrate a full range of X-ray diffraction systems plus several models that are new to market
Using its real time detector technology the company plans to show a compact portable combined XRD-XRF ( the first of its type in the world ) that can be used at site in all types of geological locations or from the back of a car or truck.
This 'remarkable' instrument has no moving parts and can measure all diffraction data simultaneously usually within a second or two.
The only service requirements are mains voltage or a 12VDC supply.
Also Inel will be showing a new low cost entry level bench top instrument called Equinox 1000 that can be used for research or quality control, plus a new Micro XRD capable of measuring samples smaller than 20microns.
All instruments use the new Equinox curved real time X-ray detectors set to revolutionise the XRD market.
Equinox detectors do not require the conventional scanning mechanical goniometers used in conventional XRD instruments but instead measure the complete diffraction pattern without any form of mechanical scanning.
This saves time, reduces manufacturing costs and provides high resolution data in real time these Inel diffraction systems are described as the perfect design for all types of X-ray diffraction applications including kinetic studies.
Other new instruments include two new Saxs and Waxs models plus a new multi axis texture system.
