Monmouth Scientific says its brand new PCR cabinets offer superb clean air characteristics for the processing of polymerase chain reaction (PCR)
The cabinets provide excellent sized working area and significantly lowers the risk of cross contamination of your PCR sample by providing a curtain of clean air (laminar flow) over the worksurface.
It offers better than Class 100 clean air conditions over the entire working area and to further reduce the risk of cross contamination between samples, the Monmouth PCR cabinets are supplied complete with a time controlled UV light to completely sterilise the working area between samples.
Four individual pre-set time functions are provided as standard.
A removable, lightweight and interlocked night door is provided to ensure there is no risk of exposure to the UV light.
This can be hung on the side of the cabinet when not in use.
A removable stainless steel worksurface is provided as standard.
Two versions are available, the PCR650 which is supplied with a low airflow alarm and warning light, and the PCR650E which offers a low airflow warning via the LCD display, but in addition offers a pre-filter replacement warning alarm, HEPA filter warning alarm, hours run indicator and countdown timer for the UV light.
Both systems are extremely cost effective and offer excellent value for money.
