Temperature Electronics (TEL) has launched the latest upgrade to its range of auto sash controllers.
The TEL range of products now features a digital display, facilitating easier calibration and operation.
Although preliminary designed for operation on VAV fume cupboards, the latest controller can also be used on CAV fume cupboards for increased safety.
It can be fitted to new or existing fume cupboards with a choice of three motor drive systems to suit each type of fume cupboard.
It also incorporates a new under sash sensor in place of the original light curtain which has resulted in a 25% reduction in price.
According to TEL, the installation of its product has the capacity to save customers previously operating without controllers approximately £1000 in energy costs per fume cupboard per year.
TEL director Richard Eady said: “Auto sash controllers present laboratory managers in academia and industry with the opportunity to make massive energy, cost and carbon emission savings.
