The TM-1327GE is a compact progressive scan CCD camera, featuring a 2/3inch image sensor (Sony ICX285) and the ability to capture 30 frames per second at a full 1.4 megapixel resolution (1392x1040)
Jai Pulnix has added a new member to its growing line of gigabit ethernet cameras.
Contained in a 50.8x50.8x84.8mm housing, the camera offers a wide dynamic range with high sensitivity over both visible and near IR portions of the spectrum, making it well suited to applications involving widely varying light conditions, specialised targeting, or inspection of blemishes or defects not easily observed in the visible spectrum.
The camera's interline transfer CCD permits full vertical and horizontal resolution with shutter speeds up to 1/21,000sec.
Asynchronous reset, combined with a no-delay, pulse-width controlled shutter, provides flexible triggering and exposure control necessary for machine vision applications.
The GigE interface has the advantages of 100 metre cables, standard ports, as well as being very easy to use and configure.
Jai Pulnix's patented look-up table (LUT) allows full dynamic range control of the CCD by externally selectable knee slopes.
An extensive software kit, provided with the camera, includes a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) for controlling LUT settings and other camera functions, as well as an integrated API and a set of C++ classes for controlling the grabbing of images, and configuring local I/Os.
The TM-1327GE features a C-mount lens flange that lets users adjust back focus to improve image sharpness when using lower-cost zoom lenses or custom optics.
The camera is available in both monochrome and Bayer CFA color formats (TMC-1327GE), or with optional UV response (OP21-UV).
Applications for the TM-1327GE include machine vision, intelligent transportation systems, fruit inspection, medical imaging, gauging, character recognition, surveillance, and failure analysis.
