UltraVolt, a manufacturer of high voltage power supplies, announced the availability of the new AA series of regulated high voltage DC to DC converters
"The AA series has successfully completed alpha and beta testing and is ready for release," said James Morrison, executive vice president.
"Delivering up to 6kV at only 3.35 cubic inches in volume, the AA Series offers a 22% reduction in unit size compared with the standard A Series product line, offering customers a new solution for their most compact high voltage designs".
The new AA Series four page data sheet contains detailed technical and physical specifications on the newest addition to UltraVolt's line of off-the-shelf standard products.
With eight models ranging from 0 to 62V through 0 to 6kV and output power at 0 to 4 Watts, 20 Watts and 30 Watts, the AA Series requires only 4.46 square inches of mounting space.
Complementing the AA's small size and high efficiency are tight regulation, low ripple, and good temperature stability along with all the built-in features and functions customers expect from an UltraVolt product, including output voltage and current monitors, and maximum Iout all the way down to 0 Volts.
As with most UltraVolt products, the AA Series can be PCB or chassis mounted in the standard plastic package or outfitted with optional mu-metal shielding.
