Priorclave has launched the C85 top-loading autoclave for effective sterilisation of tall items within limited floor space.
Boasting a chamber capacity of 85 litres and an internal depth of 890mm, the C85 is suitable for items such as fermentors and large capacity Erlenmeyer flasks.
It has a footprint of 472 x 500mm, and operates from a standard 13A single-phase supply for easy installation.
The autoclave can be made ready for plumbing to a water supply for permanent installation or supplied for manual water fill if the new compact autoclave is to be moved or shared with other departments.
Although ideal for sterilising tall, larger items, the C85 can simultaneously hold a number of baskets - enabling a larger number of smaller items to be sterilised in a single process. Access to the chamber is achieved via the patented Quickseal single-action door opening/closing system which provides safe and secure one-handed operation.
For safety, the door system incorporates thermal and pressure locks to prevent opening at load temperature above 80oC and pressures above 0.2bar.
