Cecil Instruments’ range of reliable, ultra-low drift and UV/Visible Spectrophotometers and accessories are designed to meet a plethora of food, beverage and drinking water applications.
AquaQuest spectrophotometers are pre-programmed for more than two hundred assays dedicated to water and effluent analyses. They feature wavelength ranges from 190 to 1100 nm, and can be password protected to safeguard user-created methods and data.
DietQuest spectrophotometers are pre-programmed for many assays dedicated to food and drink analyses, but can also be used for other laboratory applications. Available as single or double beam instruments, instruments cover wavelength ranges of 190 to 1100 nm, and have band widths of either less than 2, or 4 nm. Optional integral printers are also available.
The single beam Aurius, Super Aurius and double beam Aquarius models are general purpose spectrophotometers which can be securely and easily programmed to store user data and any user-created methods.
Possible applications for the Cecil Instruments range include detection of arsenic forms, cyanide checking of cassava and almond products, documentation of vitamin, sodium and potassium levels in food and beverages and measurements of many ions, such as hexavalent chromium, chloride, bromide, bromate, fluoride, iodide, phosphates, sulphates, nitrates, ammonia, sodium, lithium, magnesium, potassium and calcium, in potable waters.
