The Red Dot Jury has honoured the Laboport N 820 G from KNF Laboratory Equipment with the internationally sought-after Red Dot Award: Product Design for 2020.
The Laboport series comprising the N 96, N 820 G and N 840 G laboratory pumps were redesigned in response to users’ feedback on what makes a comfortable workspace.
The Laboport N 820 G is now equipped with a three-colour status indicator which shows the current operating mode at a glance. With smooth surfaces, no hard edges, and a seamlessly retractable handle, the device is simple to clean and transport.
All of the redesigned Laboport models save space, addressing one of the typical constraints of laboratory work - even when integrated into modular assemblies to create vacuum systems with a separator and/or condenser.
Speed-controlled, chemically resistant for very aggressive and corrosive gases, and, depending on the model, ATEX-compliant — the vacuum pumps are suited to laboratory applications including degassing, filtration, liquid aspiration, gel drying, rotary evaporation, SPE and vacuum concentration.
