IKA expands its portfolio of reactor systems with EasySyn – a reactor system for which all components are available from a single source.
Designed for organic or aqueous synthesis EasySyn is a medium-sized and very flexible upscaling system which ensures safe and reproducible chemical reactions when transferring from laboratory to process scale.
The instrument’s reactor, stirrers, thermostats, vacuum pumps and laboratory software were developed by the same manufacturer for perfect coordination. An ergonomically designed stand enables comfortable working posture and facilitates vessel change, stirrer alignment and the draining of reaction solution and temperature control liquid.
With the double-walled reactor vessels from 500 ml to 5000 ml, syntheses can be carried out in completely different batch sizes. The high quality of the materials used (borosilicate glass 3.3 and PTFE) ensure high chemical resistance, wide operating temperature range from -30 to 200 °C and a vacuum capacity of up to 25 mbar. A bottom valve ensures complete draining of the reaction solution and effectively prevents glass breakage thanks to a spring-loaded valve spindle. Reactor lid openings are normed and thus compatible with existing laboratory equipment.
