Separating substances at medium rotational speeds: IKA G-L is a midi centrifuge which is suitable for all types of separation processes including those found in molecular biology.
The centrifuge is fitted with a metal cover and, as a safety feature, will run only when the lid is firmly closed. The cover opens automatically at the press of a button.
With a rotational speed of up to 15,700 rpm, variable in steps of 100 rpm/rcf, the centrifuge is fitted with a high-performance motor. It can be used with standard 1.5/2 ml vessels, as well as with PCR strips. The completely intuitive navigation is carried out through a membrane keypad with the clearest display in its class for easy setting of speed, rotational speed or programs. Metal rotor and cover for 12 vessels, with a capacity of 1.5/2 ml, are included in the scope of delivery.
