Priorclave’s top-loading autoclaves offer a genuine solution for laboratories limited on size but requiring a relatively large chamber steriliser.
The QCS EV range is available with chamber capacities of 60, 100 and 150 litres. Their compact design and operational flexibility make them suitable for sterilising applications including media preparation, liquids and diluent, waste, glassware instruments and pieces of apparatus.
Designed by Priorclave and built in the company’s British-based manufacturing centre, the units can accommodate small and tall objects together in a single sterilising process. A powered hoist can be fitted for easier loading/unloading of tall and heavy, awkward items – avoiding personal back-injury whilst enabling the full working height of the vertical sterilising chamber to be used.
The hoist uses a quick-release clip to fix easily and securely to the handle of a standard wire basket. Tailor-made collars for fixing to the neck of fermentors for direct loading and unloading also can be supplied.
Each top-loading autoclave has Tactrol 3 programmable controller which is simple to set whilst providing precise control and information on cycle process.
The load capacity of the range, along with its reliability and space-saving features make it suitable for a diverse range of sectors including food, drink, dairy, pharmaceutical, agricultural, education and healthcare as well as dedicated research establishments.
