Flint recently completed his second three year term, during which time the firm had been distinguished by its growth and innovation, said a company statement.
He will be succeeded by fellow board member Jean-Paul Mangeolle (pictured), formerly president of Danaher Corporation company Sciex.
"We are incredibly grateful to Jonathan for his outstanding leadership and unwavering support over the past six years. His contributions have been foundational to Refeyn’s success," said CEO Gerry MacKay.
"We are equally excited to welcome Jean-Paul as our new chairman. His extensive experience and strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to scale our business."
Refeyn originated in 2018 as a University of Oxford spin-out. Originally named Arago Biosciences, it was renamed in early 2019, the same year that its first mass photometer, OneMP, launched.
The year after it opened US offices in Portland, Oregon and Boston, Massachusetts and in 2021 expanded its Oxford manufacturing site before launching three more mass photometry instruments.
