ChemSW announced in March 2002 the integration of its CISPro CIS chemical inventory system and STIS sample tracking and inventory system
The integration allows users to track information on samples taken from inventory for testing.
Ideal for R+D and production environments where stored bulk chemicals must be sampled and tested before release, this capability enables users to click on a container in the CISPro System, view all test result information from the STIS and even schedule tests.
With STIS, users can register samples, create work lists, assign tests, enter test results and check progress and status, all with complete audit trail and reporting.
"Many regulated environments today require that certificates of analysis be updated regularly, and they may be doing thousands of tests every month," explains Brian Stafford, president of ChemSW.
"The integration of the two systems significantly streamlines this process and improves the timeliness and accuracy of chemical data."
