New Focus, a division of Bookham, will launch a range of new products and its 2007 Product Guide at Photonics West later this month
Five new product families will be unveiled at the exhibition, along with a number of key product demonstrations.
Making their debut at the Bookham New Focus booth will be:.
A range of ultracompact Tiny Picomotor actuators and Tiny mounts for vacuum and ultraclean applications.
A line of position-sensitive detectors for beam positioning and pointing measurements.
Closed loop motorised rotary stages, with 0.2mrad accuracy.
Flexible lens positioners, with independent three-axis adjustment.
Expanded range of high-damage threshold optical modulators.
New Focus will also, for the first time, demonstrate its fixed-frequency laser with high wavelength stability, narrow linewidth and rugged construction, as well as its GuideStar OEM active beam-alignment system and Granite OEM light-management solutions.
The 2007 New Focus Product Guide will also be launched at the show.
The new edition is the largest yet and features, in addition to the new products, a new section on vacuum and ultraclean products, along with an expanded OEM solutions section.
"New Focus has a well-earned reputation for innovation and quality," said Ken Ibbs, general manager for New Focus.
"Photonics West is the ideal platform for us to showcase our latest developments and demonstrate our solutions for demanding OEM and scientific applications".
In addition to the New Focus product range, Bookham will be showing products from its high power laser diode portfolio, including an ultra-high power 8W 940nm single emitter multimode module, and its display technology portfolio, including optical filters and the ZoroLight LED multiplexer module, which can be used to replace traditional lamps in bio-medical instrumentation illumination.
The new Bookham VCSELs portfolio will also be shown for the first time at the exhibition.
