This new product combines all the features of the award winning Team edition of the Labtrack software with the portability of an ultra-mobile PC.
The introductory price is US$2500 for a single unit.
As a stand alone appliance, Labtrack Personal/Q1 gives scientists and engineers the ability to replace their paper notebooks and bench sheets with a powerful electronic equivalent that supports searching and data collection.
Like the Team and Enterprise editions, Labtrack Personal/Q1 incorporates an easy to learn word processor coupled with an advanced relational database.
When combined with either a Team or Enterprise server, Labtrack Personal/Q1 users can check-out and check-in notebooks from the master Labtrack server database.
The Personal/Q1's stylus and built-in software keyboard makes data entry very easy.
Add a monitor, a USB keyboard and a mouse and the Q1 becomes a fully functional Microsoft Windows desktop PC.
