The Reach programme will lead to a significant increase in the number of safety assessments tests performed by the chemical industry and by clinical research organisations
The European Community Reach (registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemical substances) regulation entered into force on 1 June 2007 and came into operation on 1 June 2008.
The aim of Reach is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through the better and earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances.
With particular regard to mutagenicity this will lead to an upsurge in the use of tests such as Ames, Comet Assay and UDS for which Perceptive Instruments provides regulatory compliant software solutions.
The Ames Study Manager provides GLP compliant study management and reporting for Ames tests.
Optional Historical Controls module for reporting on past control data.
Links to the Sorcerer colony counting system to create the total solution for the Ames test.
Comet Assay IV is the world's fastest, most consistent comet assay scoring system.
Optional Data Extractor module for database reporting in GLP environments.
Automated scoring and flexible study management make Sorcerer UDS the perfect system for Unscheduled DNA Synthesis assays.
