With a single click, users can export a document from Sharepoint into Mastercontrol.
Metadata about these documents, which is stored on the Mastercontrol 'Infocards', can be edited and the documents in Mastercontrol even checked out directly from the Sharepoint interface.
When utilising the Mastercontrol integration solution, users will only ever be working with the most current version of a document.
The most up-to-date versions of documents are stored in Mastercontrol's secure, centralised repository and are accessed with a simple mouse click.
Documents collaborated on in Sharepoint can be easily moved to Mastercontrol and automatically routed for final review and approval in Mastercontrol.
The integration product allows users to store, revise, and approve document templates within the Mastercontrol system and use them from within Sharepoint to create new documents with ease.
When templates are updated in Mastercontrol, the system automatically updates relevant links to ensure that users are working with the most current version.
