The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) has announced Labautopedia, a free online repository of reference and tutorial information covering all branches of the field of laboratory automation.
'Labautopedia is a dynamic wiki that is all about contributorship,' said ALA president Jim Sterling.
'With a widely accessible base of information that has been vetted and refined by leading minds from the lab automation community, we believe Labautopedia will play a significant role in accelerating the growth of our field.' With more than 70 peer-contributed articles already submitted, Labautopedia offers definitions and terminology, standards, white papers, organisational listings, and other information that is never-out-of-date and continually evolving.
Labautopedia is being written by numerous authorities of various related fields, including academics, users/practitioners and vendors.
