The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) has selected eight elite start-up companies from around the world for its third annual Innovation Avenew programme at Labautomation 2009.
The mission for Innovation Avenew is to offer entrepreneurial companies in the laboratory automation and technology field a venue for positive, collaborative interaction and exposure for their product and/or service concept.
Innovation Avenew will be located in a specially designated area in the exhibit hall at Labautomation 2009.
The eight companies to be featured are: Boreal Genomics, Cynvenio Biosystems, Lyncee Tec, M2P-labs, Resonant Sensors Incorporated, Sonoplot, Sparklix Bio-computing and Ziath.
Labautomation 2009 is the platform event for established companies launching new laboratory technology products and services.
Innovation Avenew is a programme affording emerging companies the opportunity to actively engage and participate in an event that helps to grow and scale business, as well as directly connect them to more than 4,500 purchasing influencers and decision makers.
A judging panel of experts in laboratory automation and technologies conducted the preliminary screening and final selection of all the candidate start-up companies.
Labautomation 2009 will feature more than 300 exhibits and approximately 4,500 participants from around the world.
